Chairman

Earl Marshall is the Pastor of Discipleship and Training at Hope Bible Church Oakville. He is married to Brenda and together they share a desire to see disciples made and leaders strengthened for the Church of Jesus Christ. The Lord has graciously allowed Earl to serve the Church in Canada and around the world as a Dean, Professor, Senior Pastor, and a Trainer of church planters. All glory to God! Earl and Brenda have two adult children: Jon and Julie, and Christine and Joe. They also have five amazing grandchildren: Elle, Cadence, Josiah, Haddie, and Brooke.

Ian Hales

Ian Hales is the founding pastor of Redemption Church Durham. Ian grew up in the Durham Region and by God’s grace was given the privilege to plant Redemption Durham in 2010. God has done and continues to do great things in and through Redemption Durham for the glory of His great name. Ian’s greatest desire is to see God glorified through a passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ. His prayer is that God will use Redemption Durham to be a pillar of truth in the Durham Region—that the preaching of God’s Word would be used to see lost people saved, saved people matured, and mature people multiplied. Ian received his B.A. from York University and his Masters of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary. Ian and his wife Sarah were married in 2003 and are parents to their children Karis, Joshua and Caleb.

And through much prayer and God’s grace, Hope Oakville has seen the birth of several vibrant churches across Canada. Robbie’s radio ministry through Hope Bible Church Oakville called Live in the Light, can be heard daily throughout Southern Ontario, Western New York, and the Atlantic Provinces.
