Crawford Loritts

Crawford grew up in New Jersey and as a teenager he trusted Christ as his Savior. He attended and graduated from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, NJ. He attended and graduated from Cairn University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible. He and his wife Karen met in college and were married on May 22, 1971.

He has traveled throughout the US and much of the world, speaking in churches, evangelistic outreaches, conferences, colleges and seminaries. He has been the featured speaker at Super Bowls, NCAA Final Four Chapel and the Pentagon with senior military officers. He has been a church planter, served for 27years on the staff of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) and served for 15 years as Sr. Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church, Roswell, Georgia. He and his wife, Karen, have been featured speakers at FamilyLife marriage conferences. Crawford is the author of 9 books including Your Marriage Today… and Tomorrow, co-authored with Karen. He is the host of two national radio programs, the weekend program Living a Legacy and the daily program Legacy Moments.

Crawford serves on several boards including Cru, FamilyLife and Chick-fil-A. He has received five honorary Doctorates (Biola Univ., Cairn Univ., Moody Bible Institute, Trinity International Univ. and Columbia International Univ.).

Crawford is President and Founder of Beyond Our Generation and is committed to encouraging and helping to shape the next generation of Christian leaders.

Crawford and Karen have 4 adult children and 11 grandchildren.

Dave Harvey

Dave Harvey (D. Min – Westminster Theological Seminary) serves as the president of Great Commission Collective, a church planting ministry in the US, Canada and abroad. In his 33 years of ministry, Dave was president of Sojourn Network, oversaw church planting, church care & international outreach for Sovereign Grace Churches, was a lead pastor for 19 years, and pastored for a total of 33 years. He is also the founder of AmICalled.com. Dave presently serves on the board for the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) and has traveled nationally and internationally doing conferences where he teaches Christians, trains pastors & church planters and conducts marriage events.

Dave served as general editor for the Sojourn Network ‘How-To’ series and contributes regularly at The Gospel Coalition, Desiring God, and For the Church. Dave is the author of When Sinners Say I Do, Am I Called?, Rescuing Ambition, Letting Go: Rugged Love For Wayward Soul (co-authored w/ Paul Gilbert), and I STILL DO! Growing Closer and Stronger Through Life’s Defining Moments.

Married for 37 years, Dave and Kimm have four kids, four grandkids and lives in southwest Florida.

Robbie Symons

Robbie Symons is the founding pastor of Hope Bible Church Oakville. His greatest passion is to see lives changed for the glory of God. Hope Oakville has experienced the power and grace of the Lord in its growth from a Bible study of 18 people in 2003 to over 4000 people today. They have also been used to see the birth of several vibrant churches across Canada.

Robbie’s radio ministry through Hope Oakville, called Live in the Light, can be heard daily throughout Southern Ontario, Western New York, and the Atlantic Provinces. He is also the author of Passion Cry: How Apathy is Killing the Church and A Passion for Christ Will Revive It. Robbie has also taken the role of On-Air Bible Teacher at 100 Huntley St. where he deeply desires to reach people with the word of God resulting in a passion for Christ.

Robbie and his wife Gillian live in Burlington, Ontario with their four children.

Norm Millar

Norm Millar is the Senior Pastor at Redemption Bible Chapel.

Before going into ministry, Norm had an 18-year career in computer software design and project management.

Norm obtained his MDiv from The Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles. In 2000, he planted, with 30 others, SouthWest Community church in London. SouthWest transitioned to Harvest Bible Chapel London in 2006, and in 2018, changed its name to Redemption Bible Chapel. Redemption Bible Chapel is excited to be a member church of the Great Commission Collective (GCC).

Norm graduated in May 2017 with his DMin (focus on preaching) from Southern Seminary.

Norm has been married to Cindy for 43 years. They have five children and 17 grandchildren.

FAQ’s

When purchasing more than one GCC Conference ticket, the purchaser has the option to ‘copy’ information from one ticket to all others. Because of the nature of the questions and our registration process, each person must have their own ticket with information specific to their needs—email, dietary information, workshops etc. The ticket purchaser is able to edit information for each individual ticket when they sign into their Eventbrite account until October 1, 2022.

We will try our best to have many of the workshops available after the conference. Check your email for updates.
The GCC Conference will not be live streamed.
No. We will not have childcare available. There is a nursing mothers room on-site with video feed for main sessions.

*Strollers are not permitted in the Worship Centre

Coffee, tea and water will be available throughout the event

Grab and go breakfast will be available Tuesday and Wednesday, (bagels, croissants, yogurt, cereal and more) lunch/dinner WILL NOT be provided.

If you have a dietary restriction, please indicate it on your registration form and we will follow up with you about what we will have available.

The cost for anyone to attend the GCC Conference starts at $125 + fee. There are no discounts available, if you have questions about finances please email Events@HopeOakville.ca

No, we are not able to offer partial tickets to the GCC Conference.

Each conference attendee is responsible to secure their own transportation to and from the event.
The registration fee covers admission to all main sessions and workshops, plus conference materials.

Registration can be transferred to another person if requested in writing by e-mail to Events@HopeOakville.ca at least two weeks before the event.

All refunds are subject to a $25 administrative fee. If canceled up to four weeks before the event, 100% of the registration fee (less the administrative fee) will be refunded.

If canceled between four and two weeks before the event, 50% of the registration fee (less the administrative fee) will be refunded.

No refund is given if canceled within two weeks of the event.
